relocating H.U. by the outlet?

relocating H.U. by the outlet?
I was wondering if anybody has relocated their head unit to the the spot where the power outlet is. Or if it would be hard to do. It seems like it would be great to put a motorized deck there and mold a screen into the original spot. Would it be too hard to to that and what would u have to do?
