I have searched and pretty much read every single topic in I.C.E & electrical section of this forum and found nothing,
I just got a Pioneer DEH 3400 head unit and just wanted to know the size of speaker (stock size) for rear and front
for a sedan LX and what do you guys suggest I should buy (Brand and model) I am in a very limited budget so a little
bit better than the stock is fine. nothing fancy.... just speakers and to be powered only by this head unit, under 100$ for

6.5" front and rear for the sedan.

i got 5 1/4 components in the front and 6 1/2 speakers in the rear....they're alpine type r's by the way

you got visit crutcfields site, put in your car model and they will tell you what will fit, just dont buy from them, they'll rape you almost as bad as honda dealerships will with their prices

goto the store....... look at whatever speaker u like........ buy whichever speakers u like..... as long as its 6.5"....... then buy a bag of zip ties... the thinnest ones....... open up ur doors..... take out the old..... and in with the new..... zip em up wid the ties........ connect the wires.... and ur good to go......

eww... no zip ties... no, spacers... you'll lose a LOT of midbass response and its just a horrible install... 90% install, 10% product

I'm with him. Zipties are icky. atleast get osme wood and ct your own spacers out or maybe get those little nylon spacers that they have at hardware stores to move them out a little more.

Not without a LOT of modification to the rear deck. The opening for the 6.5" rears is pretty tight. It COULD probably be done, with some cutting of the deck, but why do all of that modification just for Rear fill? Waste of time, IMHO. Most people will tell you that you can actually do without rear speakers if you have a quality set of front components and subs.

Not worth the trouble to try and mod for 6x9's. After all the money spent just to mod the back deck and mount speakers, you could buy better quality 6 1/2 fo the same price and not trouble with all that work. Just my 2 cents. As for answering the question on topic, your best bet would be to go to a store and listen to each speaker set. Whatever spearers sound the best to you will always be the right choice. If you search good enough online you can get really good speakers, I mean top brands and top sounds for great prices. Be pacient ith your sounds cause there is always something going to be better looking to you everytime you search. Good Luck.

hey shadow what kind of infinity u got? do you have any problem installing do you have to do a mod just to fit them the reason i ask id i have a infinity too that i need to install next week.
