Components
I am looking to get some new components. What are some good models that I can get for $300 or less? I will look locally in stores and then probably buy online. Also, I am looking for ones that both the tweeter and Woofer will fit in the stock locations without major modifications? Thanks!

DEI Studio 7" components will fit with only a 1/2" Spacer..very shallow mounting depth..good sound..
Also Infinity Kappa's.. Forget JL audio XR's, or anything Focal..those require cutting the plastic ring out of your door panels speaker ring...
There's more.. MBQ Premiums would fit and are $269 or so off onlinecarstereo.com .. What kind of musci you listen to most..and how much amp power will you feed them?

I have the Infinity Kappa component set. They sound REALLY good. You need an amp to get the most out of them but they are super clear. let me know if you ahve any questions about them

Thanks for the advice guys! The site was down ALL weekend and I had narrowed down my choices to the MB Quart premiums and Infinity perfects 6.1. I ended up ordering the perfects from Ikesound since the rest of my speakers are infinty. I am kinda worried that the perfects won't fit though??
Anyway, I will be bridging an MTX 4244 (I think) so it probably puts out about 150 watts used as a two channel amp.
Did I make a bad choice?? I actually have not heard the perfects before, but I like my perfect subs a lot. I heard the MB quarts and they sound good (umm, they sound really good!). Will the hole be to small, and how can I make it bigger?

I am gonna get the MB quart premiums from Ike's. They are a few bucks cheaper then Onlinecarstereo, and I don't have to pay tax becaus eI live about 5 miles from where online car stereo is based. With Ike's free shipping and no tax...just have to wait two weeks to get stuff across country.

swk, Do you know how well Kappa 6 by 9s fit in the rear deck (any modification needed)? I want to replace the references that are back there now and hit the trunk springs?
