jvc or clarion

Looking at the jvc sh77 digifine 2.1 and the Clarion Pro Audio DXZ715. Can get both at the same price so which one do you think would be better, or any other options at around 200.

I've heard how the sq is so much better with an aftermarket hu. I'm only going to have the subs (elemental designs e12k) and a amp (lanzar opti sl800d), will I still notice a difference with just these aftermarket products with a deck over the line converter things.

You'd notice a BIG difference.. but with that much power and those subs..all you'll hear is bass..you won't have enough power or good enough speakers to play music cleanly and loud enough to match yer bass..

Cheers

I had a bad experience with JVC service a while back. After some research, I discovered that JVC is notorious for horrible repair service. JVC= IMO.

You gotta at least replace the HU if not amp the speakers.. Yeah you'll have tremendous bass.. but you'll hear nothing else. A guy I work with put 3 audiobahn subs in his mazda and left everything else stock.. it sounds TERRIBLE! Yeah, people are impressed by the bass when he drives by but anyone who knows anything about car audio knows when they see his car.. it's just a waste!
