Just gave my system a little "bass boost". Hehe...

I just traded my cousin two 10" Boston Rally Series for two 12" RF Punch XLCs. It was basically a reversal of a previous trade between the two of us. He had the RFs in the RX-7 that I sold him, and he decided to go with the Bostons to save a little space. His loss! I added them to my system, so my system (in my '92 Sunbird SE Convertible) now consists of:

JVC El Kameleon KD-LX300
Infinity Reference 3.5's up front
Infinity Reference 6x9's in back
2 12" Kicker Solobaric L7's powered by a JBL BP-1200.1 (1200wRMSx1@2-ohms)
2 12" Rockford Fogate Punch XLC's powered by a Clarion ProAudio APA-1200 (300wRMSx1@2-ohms)

Hehe...my trunk is packed so full that I can't even put my top down anymore...but people can hear me coming long before they can see me.

Yeah...actually I was losing a lot of SPL. It actually put out less bass than with just the two L7's...plus my car handled like a Mack truck from all the weight. As for enjoying my Civic this summer...I am getting another car. I have already made a deposit so the dealership will hold it for me. I am getting a Satin Silver 2002 Mustang GT coupe. It has black leather, it's a five-speed...and it even has the Bullit wheels. All this for only $22,000. It's kind of weird how I decided on this car. I went to a Ford dealership to look at some Focuses (Focii?), just for the hell of it. I was bored. Anyway, I also looked at some V-6 Mustangs and realized that they cost the same as the 2002 Civic EX I was looking at. I test-drove one and fell in love. Anyway, I decided to check out the GTs...and decided to get one. My stepdad works at a factory that makes Ford parts, so he gets the X-Plan discount. I am also trading my Sunbird in. I should be getting my car within 2-4 weeks. I can't wait! I can't wait to have control over the 260hp 4.6L V8! It's quite an improvement over my 95hp 2.0L!!

Dude I have a 2001 Mustang GT Vert and my insurance payments are not to bad they are $190.00 a month. The payment is the killer at $550.00 AHH. Thats why I am trading it in on a civic.

I'm getting my car Friday! Oh, and about the insurance...my car's paid off, so I can get whatever level I want. I talked to a local insurance co. the other day, and they said they can keep my rates right around the $2,000 a year mark. I got an online price quote from Geico, though, and it was outrageous. I had just the necessary coverage, with all the other stuff being declined. I also had the highest deductibles. It came out to right around $9,000 a year! That's stupid!!! Anyway, I am looking forward to getting my new ride, and hope I can afford the insurance.
