JL Audio Stealth Box
After waiting and bugging the dudes at JL Audio, they have finally released the Stealth Box for the Civic Coupe (sorry, no sedans). Mine is ordered and confirmed to be delivered on Friday. Finally, I will get some precious space in my trunk since I have to actually carry work stuff back there and the 12W3v2-D2 should hit fairly hard.
I am running a US Acoustics 6300 for the whole system with a Kenwood head and am pretty anxious to see how it will sound.
I will be sure to post some pics and such along with a review.
Peace...

dont get so angry there mo... some people like the fact that there is a brand name written on everything... it gives em a sense of comfort that they bought the right thing.... winISD isn't for everyone

they hit no better than the sub that's in them with the same airspace from any other enclosure..generally they use 8 or 10" W6's which won't play extremely low with authority nor pound your car..

I wanted something that was
1. conserving of space, since I wanted my trunk to actually move things
2. produced a respectable amount of bass
3. was quick, since I am moving
4. had a warranty
5. looked good
Yes, I admit the Stealth boxes are expensive. But if you remove the woofer, you are paying about 300 for the box alone. A custom box with labor is not going to be much cheaper. And while I was a stereo installer for 13 years, I live in an apartment, so it has to be able to be done in one day.
I do wish they were cheaper, but I am certain I will be happy with the end results.

Nice box as well. Perhaps they should offer a little advertisement or sponsership. A good word goes a long way, especially here with so many Civic owners to reach.
