I need fiberglass sub enclosures built, anyone?

Need to find someone that can build two enclosures for my civic, I want to put the subs in 1 cubic foot side well enclosures so I can keep my trunk space, but I dont know of anyone in the area that can do it. I already know it's something, with alot of work, I could do, but time is not something I have anymore. Anyone out there to help me, I have money?

Usually HiFi-Buys will do that stuff, but they charge an arm and a leg.

I'm building a custom trunk for my 2001 ex. coupe

i've made the plugs out of fiberglass and as soon as i can make female molds of them (still some bondo work then i'll be waiting for the latex to get here) i'm going to make several copies. they'll be similar in appearance to the carland boxes, however the ones for MY car will be made from carbon fiber and have amp racks integrated that will be suitable for my soundstream 500sx amps.

i can sell you fiberglass or carbon fibre plugs that will fit in the rear corners and require NO DRILLING. you'll just need to build the front... if you give me the specs on your components i can also do the fronts to your specs. anyone who has a SERIOUS interest in these can email me directly, with a bit of luck i think i'll be able to post some pics today...

when done my boxes will sit in the rear corners held in place by the floor of the trunk... it's a simple 3 piece design that holds itself place... i'm not sure if i'm going to use MDF or c/f for the floor... if i use the carbon, i'll prolly use dzus fasteners... if i use the MDF it'll be a wedge design holding it all in... like this \ _ /

right... pricing... here goes...

about 175 for each plug, these are nothing but the backs of the boxes molded to fit the corners with carpeting in place... no wiring provisions, no front. just the fiberglass contoured to the carpet.

-add 15 per side for wiring connectors if you want them put in, i'll cut the holes and fiberglass them in place so it's airtight...

-add 75 per side for Fiberglass (f/g) and MDF fronts with holes cut for YOUR speakers... i'll need mounting hole specs for YOUR speakers.

-add 90 per side for f/g and MDF fronts with amp mounting provisions... NOT ALL AMPS WILL FIT, again i'll need specs.

these prices are for RAW fiberglass boxes...
the finish will incur an additional cost, carpeting, vinyl, paint, primer, ?leather?, i'm not sure what options there will be or what the cost will be, look for updates within the week...

all fronts will utilize t-nuts for PROPER speaker mounting.

another option will be stealth-look boxes... recessed speakers, mesh/carpet grills that flush mount... prices for these and the carbon fibre upgrade remains to be seen... sorry.

more info will come with the progress i make.

one more thing.. w7's will not fit. sorry

swkfilms, I might try to make some sedan fiberglass enclosures for the corners. Probably won't start that until next summer though. Can you say "Group Project?" (don't know if you be in the area next summer though..)
