MB Quart Tweeter Bridge - Where can I get one?
I just bought an MB Quart component set PSD 216. I would like to mount the tweeter over the woofer via a MB Quart Tweeter bridge, but the set didn't come with any. The woofer frame has a place to mount the tweeter bridge, so the ideal solution would be to buy the bridges. The problem is that I can't find any place that has 'em.
If anyone knows where to get the tweeter bridges, please hook me up with some contact info. Also, if you or anyone you know happens to have some laying around (ha, I just thought I'd try the long shot), lemme know and I'll buy 'em from you.
The model numbers for the components are as follows:
6-1/2" woofer: PWD160
1" tweeter: PTD25
I can probably make my own tweeter bridges, but I thought I'd see if I can find some first.
Thanks!
edit: ugh, had to change all occourances of "tweeter bridge" to "tweeter bridge<font color=white style="background-color: 3E3E3E;">s</font ft>". I need a pair.

Dangit, it looks like I'm out of luck with a PTD25 Tweeter Bridge. I'll just have to make my own.
Props to MB Quart Technical Support. I e-mailed this late last night and I got a response this morning.
Even though I didn't get the answer I wanted, they didn't leave me hanging.
Jason,
We do not have a tweeter bridge with the PTD 25 tweeter, or a plain
tweeter bridge one the PTD 25 tweeters can be put into. The reason for
the spot on the basket of the woofer is because it is the same basket we
have used for a while when we had coaxials that could be used with
bridges. What I suggest doing is using a piece of back strap to secure
the tweeter over the mid, and it will also allow you to angle the
tweeter to the best possible position for your seating and listening
positions.
Thank you

Even though I didn't get the answer I wanted, they didn't leave me hanging. just get a piece of metal and make your own its really easy and you can then twist it so you can aim the tweeters up also. your mids don't move in and out very far so it can sit pretty close.
