[ Audiobahn ?? ]

I am thinking about purchasing some audiobahn equipment, (amps and subwoofers), from Etronics.com. Well, their equipment sounds like it should be good, and its somewhat expensive.

My question is: Do any of you have experience with audiobahn stuff? How do they rate compared to other companies? Is their stuff actually good quality?

Please comment, so that I know not to spend the money, or go ahead and invest in the stuff...

Like most other brands, they have an entry level line, and then higher quality lines. Go to their website and research the product differences before you buy. Pick the system that will work best for what you want to accomplish and your budget.

don't know.. only from what i've heard.. i don't know.. they make good subs.. but if you want amps.. go with something like rockford.. or kicker... or alpine... or nakamichi.. also.. i would strongly suggest you go for a mono class BD amp as well.. keeps things compact and nice and cool.....

EDIT: Is that pic really big? or is it just me...

EDIT2: You might wanna try ebay.. scala1 usually has really good prices... he's the man in ebay for car audio..

I have had nothing but audiobahn in my other cars, and am currently working on an audiobahn system for the civic. You cant go wrong with it. As far as the amps getting hot??? WTF??? Most of them have built in fans. They are a much better product then rockford or kicker.

Auydiobahn all around is a good product. Their class a/b amps do get warm..which is why they now use built in fans...Theur subs are quite nice if a little expensive... the mids from my experiance have rather harsh tweeters....the amps they look pretty which adds to cost..for the same $$ you can go with Arc Audio, kicker, PPI or Zapco amps.. for a little less you can gow ith RF power series amps, MTX or eclipse amps..

you have alot of options..

Audio Bahn has the South Carolina state record for the 24" class. I know the guy that has them he pushed in the high 170's db. his system kicks. you will be deaf when you get out. i strongly suggest getting them. i had two audio bahn high excursion 12"s and loved them till i sold them for two MTX 15"s.

world records arent above 175, cant be high 70's.

and audiobahn generally sounds like garbage, but ive known a woofer or two that can take massive amounts of power, and get REALLY REALLY loud.

theres a guy down in LA was hitting high 50's in his truck with a pair of audiobahn 10's and a D2......

The ALum SQ sub does sound quite nice.. very similar to Eclipse alums and audiomobile EVO-R's..
