Pioneer P7300DVD "cant display while driving"

How do i wire it so i can play dvd's without the e-brake on?..I tried wiring it just straight up to my ignition power switch but that didn't work...it does work now that i put it on that e-brake...but thats pretty stupid, how am i supposed to watch music videos..heh

Any help would be much appreciated...if it matters i have the P8000R visual master unit.

*sigh*

I can understand the concern but comon...who is going to spend over a grand on a deck that they cant even use if they are parked?

I burn music video's to vcd format, im not stupid enough to watch the tv while im driving..but i dont see why that should hinder my passengers not to be able to.

If anyone can help, please email me @ armyphreak@blkhawk.net ...

I don't see why the big deal in telling the guy how to do this. I would want that option available to me if I had a DVD/screen in my car. It's his responsibilty as a human to use his judgment whether or not to do it. I'll tell anyone how to do anything. It's up to you how you use that information. This thread is just stupid..

You can buy little black boxes of ebay that simulate the e-brake being on.

Essentially this information is everywhere and you can find it anywhere. So what's the difference if it's posted?
