A few Inquiries
I have decided to not purchase new 6X9s for the rear, and in fact take out the old ones all together, I was wondering if it is a wise idea to just get a 300/2 amp instead of a 300/4 amp, and spend the extra mney on better 6.5 components in the front,
also opinions needed on three way speaker setups for the front. Such as the JL Audio XR653CS Speakers System or am I better off going with the regular compnent system from JL the XR650-CS.
I can get them priced at 329 USD for the 3 way and 259 USD for the latter.
ALso want to ask one more time if the upgrade to the MB Quart QSD216 6.5 Components at 589 USD which make for an increase 260 USD and 330 respectively is worth it. There are also a 3 way system offered by MB Quart which is the PREMIUM series PSD316, which has the exact same setup as the JL with a 10 dollar increase in price tag over the 3 way JLs mentioned above.
I am going for SQ, and want pretty good staging, that is why I want to get rid of the rear fill, I want to know if the 3 way are worth it and will aid or hurt staging. And if those MB Quart are worth the extra 330 bucks.

unless you want to buld kickpods..go with the 2-way JL's.. Much smoother tweeter and better midbass...and cheaper.. skip rear fill entirely and get a 300/2
whats up G
man those jl xr components are 2 die for
they no joke
if i were u i wouldn't get a 3 way system up front cause they could cause some staging problems.........
tried and true is 2 way
-stay real homie

Hey whats up d00d, yeah I know I've heard them both on the board and staged in an Eclipse and they sounded soooo crisp and clean with good strong mid bass, I couldnt tell any difference on the board between those and the 600 dollars MB Quart, but Ive never heard them in the car, but I think Id rather save the money.

Installing a three-way component system up front would be a serious pain in the a$$. You'd have to get kickpods built for sure - probably custom too = lost of $$$. I say stick with 2-way component systems. That's what I have up front (the pioneer premier components) and I'm happy with them.
