Well I removed my old sony CD player, not sure of the exact model since im at work, from my old prelude that got crushed by a 2 ton oak tree recently [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG], I removed it with the harnass attached, etc. A friend of mine just got a '94 civic sedan and Im going to give it to her and possibly install it for her. Has anyone hear ever done an install on this gen civic and where would I be able to find the right adapter/harnass since I doubt the current harnass will fit her car. What else is involved in this, since Ive never installed a headunit myself.

My guess is that Honda tried to save a few bucks and didn't change the wiring harness between the two cars. You can do one of two things : 1) tear her car apart and check to make sure they're the same or 2) go to crutchfield.com and look for the wiring harnesses there and compare them. If they look the same you're good to go!

yea i went to scosche and they use the same harness for most of the hondas from '86 up with a few exceptions. anyway, how do you remove the stock headunit and get the aftermarket one in place and keep it in there???
