Factory HU Question
For the time being I am sticking with the factory HU. Does it have any RCA outputs? if not how do I work around that?
I am thinking about going with a Kenwood head unit.. I already have Boston Acustic componets for the fronts, 2 xtant 100 w amps and my Kicker Comp 12. I just want to get my stuff in my car while I am waiting to decide what HU I want.
Thanks

you can get a High level input adapter..which turns your speaker wires into an RCA Plug..sound quality will hoewever be much lower than a decent aftermarket HU...
Seeing as your getting some high end stuff...why not a High end HU.. onlinecarstereo.com is still sellting Clariion HX D10's for $269 shipped..this is an $800HU which has about the best possible sound a HU can have...

I just havn't decided what HU I wanted to go with and it's been 2 months with a factory system.. DRIVING ME CRAZY.. That head unit looks nice but I would loose F/R fade with the preamp only. Unless you know a trick I don't, neither one of the xtants are 4C. Any ideas would help.
Thanks

a LOC will cost ou 20 bucks compared to a new deck, and it will let you hook everything up just fine.
a worthwhile purchase to let you install and enjoy what you have while you shop or not shop for a new deck.....
you can get 4 channel ones at kragen, or online, 2 channel ones can be had at radioshack even.
