The rear deck of my sedan only have space for 6" speaker and i really want to install a pair of 6x9. I was thinking of cutting but the deck is not flat. I need some ideas to install those drivers.

6x9's will give to much rear fill in my opinion and make your stereo sound unbalanced, then you'll need to play with the fader to adjust it and your output from the 6x9's will be about the same as the 6's anyhow......I think you should stick with what you got....

Just use the 6.5" Speakers... if you want 6x9's for bass.. they only play about 5hz lower and about 1 DB louder than 6.5's so it's not worth the work...if you want some 6.5's with good bass response grab up some JL Audio I/B 6" Subs

Yeah, the 6x9's aren't really worth all of the work. I would go with some 6.5" speaks, probably Focal Utopia 6W's if my Kenwoods ever blow out.

What type of difference will I hear using those 6" subs and keeping the stock speakers?

If you install 6" subs, will you only hear the real lows coming from these, or will you also hear higher notes as well. In other words, if I were to install these would I only be hearing bass from my back speakers? As you can tell, I know little about the whole stereo thing.
