Head unit help please

Any quick suggestions for a good head unit, im gonna be getting 2 12" fosgate subs and a 500w amp (dunno brand yet)

I want something nice and not too too expensive

I don't know what isn't too expensive for you, but Alpine, Clarion, Pioneer, Kenwood are all pretty good brands and have good lower end less expensive units.

Why don't you liek Clarion? I have no personal experience with them, i just always hear pretty good things about them.

I ended up getting a JVC

And i just installed my amp and 2 12" 400 watt fosgate subs

Sounds so good

now i just have to make my trunk not rattle

yes what is wrong with clarion i have one right now and it rawks, the bass is tight and the treble is crisp

Yeah, what's wrong with Clarion decks, excellent sq for the money. I would not recommend a Kenwood deck, I have mine now and the preouts are very weak, I can't wait to sell it and get a Clarion deck.
