amping the highs

ok i finished the trunk......now i wanna add an amp for the highs. i gotta HU that has a seperate out for the sub. now i know where to run the posotive and thr ground...where does the remote wire go? also i am goin with a 2 farad cap......how do u hook that up? not 100% sure and i dont wanna screw it up and yes i did a search. thanx

riceboi is an unknown quantity at this point
the remote goes to the remote on/off behind your (aftermarket) deck. the cap should go in between your battery and your amp(s) and depending on wether its an auto on/off, may also need a remote in.

ok i got the amps....no what gets hooked up to the caps? the posotive and remote or just the posotive? maybe if its too confusing ill get it done by some1.....dont forget im retarted

Okay...you run the positive wire through the positive terminal of the cap..then to your amps.. you then run the ground wire from your amps..to the cap..to your grounding point...

also, the closer that you put your cap to the amp, the more efficient it will run, just a tip
