Audio newbie has some questions...
Hi, I'm new to the car audio scene and have read through this forum a lot trying to learn things about it, but I can't ever understand what everyone's talking about! I just installed a pair of Infinity 652i in the doors and a pair of Polk GXR69 in the back with an AIWA MP32 headunit. Now I know that the AIWA puts out 50Wx4 and that's not enough to power the speakers? I'm trying to get the most out of my speakers so I think getting an amp would be next. Now my question is can one amp power all four speakers? If that's so, I would need a 4 channel amp right? How much power in the amp would I need? I saw a cheap 100Wx4 (4 channel) on eBay the other day. I assume that would be better than my headunit since the wattage is more right? I know you guys probably think I'm retarded If someone could explain this wattage thing, I would greatly appreciate it.

i would get an amp. it will make it sound alot better.
depending on price range and if you are looking to get a subwoofer later either a 4 or 5 channel amp.
