head unit relocation complete!!!
so i've been posting lately about the project and it is finally done. all i have to do now is replace one of my interior pieces that i badly nicked w/my rotozip. if anyone needs info on how to do this in a sedan you can e-mail me at zvotypka@n2net.net i don't know about the coupe, but it's pretty hard in the sedan and it is basically imposible to get completely flush due to some wires back tehre and an a/c duct ... (mine sticks out 1/2") but anyway any questions e-mail

Yes - I would love to see some pics too! I'll be posting mine in afew days when I get my digital camera back. My head unit is currently where the pocket used to be, that is the one with the little flip-up door on it. Looks OK, but I've been looking for a cleaner and more "custom" looking location. Plus, I like having the stock HU and pocket there to deter theives - did this on my Mazda Miata way back and it worked like a charm. I kept my stock head unit there, and in the 1DIN slot I put my head unit. I could remore the face and clip back on the piece of plastic trim that used to be there. ..
