I ordered this deck a couple weeks ago because the face for my sony got jacked, and well i didn't want to waste more money on the sony. Is this a good deck? I payed around 500CDN with shipping. got it off ebay brand new. or did i make a mistake, lol.

The 45z is a legendary SQ deck. I love the look too.. so boring, so bland, thieves don't look twice. When I start on my ICE, I want either a high-end Alpine or the Nak 45z as my head unit. Great choice.

one of the best decks. im not familer with canadian money so i dont know if you got a good deal but. you will love the sq of that deck if youve got a great setup afterwards

It's a Fugly Hu with great clean sound..can;t go wrogn..and $500CAD is a pretty good price for one actually.

Well, back in the day I used to work for the Sharper Image, and they sell Nakamichi home sound systems. And let me tell you, for the price, I was not impressed. They were the real slim thin systems that were supposed to rival BOSE. Yeah right, I would'nt spend all that for those damn things. Not for my house. Now as far as the Stereo System for the car goes, I just hope there performance is way better.

I heard Nakamichi filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. If this is true I would look else where and pick up the Clarion HX-D10 at onlinecarstereo.com for $269 shipped.

Well i have my nak installed and it sounds DAMN good. still running off deck power. and it doesn't even start distorting till over 90% volume, soooo damn clear. it's well worth it.
