Front sedan speaker install
Front sedan speaker install
I brought a pair of infinity 652i for my car and they don't have a bracket for the speakers. How did everone else mount their front speakers??? any suggestions and pics?
I put 652i's in the back and Kappas in the front, they both came with 2 sets of brackets that were quite nice to work with. Mine came in shoebox-sized boxes, if yours didn't, make sure the place you got them didn't sell you some second hand ones or something...
Oh yeah, and make sure you leave enough space in the door for the window to roll all the way down (you'll probally have to use spacers of some sort between the bracket and the door)

They'll fit but you need 1/2" or larger spacers. You can buy these or make them out of MDF, or 1/2" Ply wood. or even 3/4" Plywood... either of em will work for those speakers.

when i put new speakers in the front me and my buddy ghetto rigged them, we cut a plasic pen in pieces to make spacers so that the speakers didn't fit and and stop the window from goin down all the way, best part is that it worked and has been fine for like a year now...
