Playing CDs made from MP3s on a High End Deck?
I was thinking of selling my Kenwood MP-8017 and buying a Clarion HX-D10. Most, if not all the cds I have were burned from MP3s, at 192kbps or better. The speakers are powered by a 4 channel amp, with Focal's in the front. Will the new deck bring out the quality of the mp3s and make them sound worse, or will the difference not be noticable? Thanks
i havent had a problem, but i need to replace my tweeters, so highs may be a problem.
for lows, however
my box was able to get a solid response at 25, and i could hear 15-20 Hz notes, and ive even bounced soda cans off my trunk lid playing music with 10ish Hz tones in there, so i dont think you have to worry about bass!
be sure to check out those highs, tho. best way is if you got a buddy with electrostatic tweets in his home theater, play your cd in there to see, any high end home theater tweet would be second best.
your set for bass!
