help Mohawk!!! is metra the only one?
is metra the only company to make the dash kit for our car's? i have this h.u clarion db325
well the silver part that goes around the outside of the unit. I can't figure out how to get it to go on with this kit. For one i can not slide the unit into the face plate of this kit at all. It fits right around the front part of the head unit. well the face of the unit comes off but it makes it hard to take of and put back on with the unit being so flush with the dash. I need the unit to come out of that front face plate but thats just not going to work from what i can tell. Also i have broken on of the little clips on the face plate of the metra kit so i am going to have to buy a new kit. so if there is a better kit will some one help me out and give me a name and or help on how to make this thing work!!!
thanks alot people

Scoche also makes a kit. It seems to be mor eprblem free and better designed. a few witht he metra have had complaints about it not fitting right and with HU's that have fold out face plates it was messing them up. Also, your supposed to slide the HU in fron the front on that kit. that might help.

oh yeah its like the face plate for the metra kit is .25 of an inch to short maybe a little more. so sliding the head unit into the kit is just out. I wonder if the shop i got this from will take it back if they have the other kit? this one just is not going to work.

I seriosuly doubt the shop will take it back. specially if you broke the clips on it.. if it's not damaged though they have to take it back and give you store credit.
