So got my remote start installed. Got that to work. Hooked up the 2 wires for lock/unlock and the doors are not responding. But clicking on the oem remote it works fine as long as the car is turned off. Do I need to purchase a external lock/unlock module for the system to work properly? This is for a 05 Honda civic coupe.

Most aftrermarket systems have an option for (-) trigger or (+) trigger. Do you have it set to the correct one?

Yes I do. I know the honda door locks/unlocks use (-), and I hooked it up per instructions but nothing is happening. The lights flash as it got the command, but the actual actuator doesn't do anything

Do you a meter or test light that you can use to verify the signal is coming out of the module?

If you have the correct signal (which you do) and it is connected to the correct wires it should work.

What system are you using? Brand, model

Yes I have a meter, I will try that out tomorrow. Model is a crime stopper sp502 which is a 2 way system
