Electric Problems After Taking Radio Out
Electric Problems After Taking Radio Out
So a couple of days ago I went to change the JVC radio in My 02 Civic to a different JVC radio I had. I ended up changing my mind and plugging the old one back in. My radio wouldn't work after that.
I noticed not too long after the speedometer and odometer (etc.) pointers/needles would shake up and down when I turned my key on. Also both of the trip meters reset themselves after i start the car. I don't know what I messed up or what happened. Help please

Re: Electric Problems After Taking Radio Out
Was the radio wired to a harness so that it was just 2 plugs snapped together or were the wires just spliced together? You can check the fuse for the radio and see if it's blown, there's also usually a small fuse on the back of the radio as well. I'd check there too to see if it's blown.

I mean there was a plug snapped in, then spliced to the plug that went in to the radio. The radio fuse was blown. I replaced it and the one on back was good but still nothing. I took it to get it hooked up on a computer, but it wouldn't read.
