My radio bit the dust

Hey, I have an 2001 Acura el 1.7, my radio was working intermittently for about a week then there was no sound for a week and now it looks like there is no power to it all together. Any suggestions on a fix?

Fuse 8 in the dash,
fuse 9 in the engine compartment
?

Then I guess pull the radio out and check for 2 powers and a ground.

See if your fuse quits blowing after you take the radio out.

Shake the radio, has there been any little kids in the car that may have fed coins into the CD slot? LBVS

Took out the stereo and there totally were coins stuck in it! Good call dude, unfortunately the coins fried the volume so I pick up a new stereo, just finished installing it everything works great the small lights fuse is no longer blowing as well. Thanks for the advice!

I've seen it many times......and more than coins. Kids have some odd fascination with radios.

We have one customer that has had their van radio stuffed with coins several times. I don't mean a penny and a nickel, I mean it's usually like $4 in change LOL
I think I've taken apart the same radio a half dozen times.

If they were my kids they all would have had broken fingers after the second time.
