hi every one
just have a question if some one can help me in right direction i have 2 door 04 civic lx manual and ecu is toast because of mice ate all wiring so my question is will any year 01-05 civic manual ecu/immobilizer with key will work with my civic or is it only specific 04 lx thanks in advance for helping.

has to be 04-05,
non-vtec same as your engine,
and manual trans same as your trans
and it has to be programmed (immobilizer) before the engine will run, or you have to get the matching immobi system and steering lock and keys from the donor car.
Make sure all your wiring is fixed so you don't burn up another control unit.

great thank you so i have no choice i have to find the right ecu. i dont know if dealer will programmed old ecu will find out thanks

I did not look to see if there are more differences between California emissions and the other choices, either.
Your local salvage yards part interchange books may have more info.
if dealer will programmed old ecu
