Ive got an 05 EX SE, its got the 6 disk silver/chrome stock unit in it. I can't find a single trim kit or proper adapter plug. I've spend about an hour or more digging through some threads on the site here and I'm not really getting concise answers.

So with that being said I've purchased a Pioneer AVH-X2800BS

I need to know what kit and adapter I need to purchase to make this work.

I'm seeing that you may not NEED a kit but rather use the brackets from the sides of the original radio. Not sure if that holds any water.

Seeing other kits don't fit correctly or have a gap but no photos to back what they're saying.

Any HELP would be appreciated. I know someone has an 05 EX SE and HAS successfully changed to an aftermarket double din with no issues. If that's you chime in!!

I got a dash kit and a wiring harness from BestBuy and it had an optional double-din trim plate with it. I will have to get back to you as to the part no. for it until I get home and look at my receipt.
