Do you have a very large soldering iron that gets very hot?
It's going to take a long time to heat the wire and melt the solder with a standard 35W iron. A small torch would be best.
For the terminals though, whatever is available at a local parts store will work fine. Doesn't need to be gold or platinum plated, just copper.
The amp looks like the kind that you just screw bare wire into:

I can't find ANY that take 4 gauge wire...only need 1 trying not to spend a lot
NVM the amp kit comes with one. Thanks tho!
