Good Spade Connectors?

Using to hookup 4 gauge wire to my amp, the Alpine M500.

I can't really seem to find any decent ones....? Going to solder them onto the wires.

Re: Good Spade Connectors?

Do you have a very large soldering iron that gets very hot?

It's going to take a long time to heat the wire and melt the solder with a standard 35W iron. A small torch would be best.

For the terminals though, whatever is available at a local parts store will work fine. Doesn't need to be gold or platinum plated, just copper.

The amp looks like the kind that you just screw bare wire into:

I prefer to have a lug at the end for stability purposes and I won't have to worry about the ends of the wire being all frayed after awhile with multiple installs and whatnot.

I can't find ANY that take 4 gauge wire...only need 1 trying not to spend a lot

NVM the amp kit comes with one. Thanks tho!
