The Car is a 2001 Honda Civic LX
I recently bought some eBay Fog Lights by Spec D tuning. Fog lights are amazing and everything but I have a huge problem. It seems like I may have wired it wrong idk but when I turn the key to acc or completetly I would push the fog light button and the fog lights would not come on. I tried it if it had to do with the main light switch and sure enough they worked off the main switch that controls the drls and headlight. I don't want them to be on all the time as we have strict laws around here. As for wires I had quiet some.options I ran the wire through the wire wall which had 2 ends a 4 pin which was yellow and a blue one which was a single pin. Then came the interior wiring harness which was the relay along with the switch wires 2 wires from the fuse both red single pin and 4 pin and a blue one. My instinct was to connect blue to blue and then the two red ones into the fuse box in the spots given. Tried if that worked the switch illuminated I pushed it nothing. I connect the yellow wire that came from the firewall and it works but the switch illuminates and has no function only my main light switch turns it on. Can someone pleasee help me I spent almost 6 hours trying to figure this out.

If the switch is illuminating then you are getting power to the switch but if the fog lights are not working then its not sending power to the fog lights after the switch. Des the switch turn the fogs on and off once you turn your headlights on?

Wiring from that tutorial is a bit different from mine when it says connect the yellow wire and blue wire sine pins together either of the blue or yellow have a female connection they both are males. Also the switch does not do anything when the headlights are on. The switch acts like a dummy switch just for shots and giggles. What else could be the problem as I was wiring the whole thing the yellow wire which has the 4 pin and the single pin it broke in the fire wall I managed to fixit but does that wire even have a purpose or is it useless for the 01-03

The switch should control the fog lights. Something is not wired correctly or missing. Did it come with a relay? Would a schematic help you?
