loseing power when radio is instaled!!
Hi I have a 2003 honda civic 1.7 diesel...I have only just bought the car, but it did not have any sort of radio installed, so I got an original one from ebay, actually it was from an r-type, don't know if that makes a difference....So I plugged it in and it works fine, however, I started my journey home on the motorway and the car started to lose power really struggling to get up to speed, so I pulled over and took the radio out and the car was fine after that, has anyone got a clue to what is going wrong please

It would be interesting to see a factory wire diagram for the stock radio and its plug.
I wonder if there are more circuits than just powers, ground, lights and speakers.
I'm in the US and I have no access to factory info for other markets.
