I have an 03 EX that I got used with a remote start. My keys were stolen a week back, so now I need to replace the key fob. But I don't know how to find a replacement that will work with the remote start. The thing is... I don't know what brand model it is (installed by the previous owner).
Any one know were I can look to find out?

Pull the cover off from underneath the steering colume ( the one that allows you access to the fuse panel) and look for the control unit. When I put my remote start in I was able to fit it under there. If you can't find it remove the steering wheel cover and follow the wires that were cut into the ignition switch. There should be 2 boxes, a smaller one for the key bypass and a larger control unit for the remote start and keyless entry. Get the number off the larger control box and google it.

The control module should look something like this with large heavy gauge wire coming out of it:

Or take it to a local installer that deals with aftermarket electronics daily.

Most will either hook you up if it is a brand they sell/install, or direct you to whomever installs your product brand.
