Kappa Perfect Components $330

Here is the Url:

Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5" Components

Has anyone purchased anything from woofersetc.com? I heard about them on the sounddomain forum. The shipping is $20. My MTX 6304 amp puts out 75x4 at 4 ohms, is that enough for these speakers? Should I go for them, or just get Focal PolyKevlars? Thanks.

My Opinion may be a little Biased here..But I'm cirrently switching over from Focal165k3 components (polykevlar 3-ways) Due to unsolvable imaging issues. The Infinity Perfects have the most serious Midbass I've ever heard from a 6.5" woofer.it's insane. The Tweeter is very smooth and laid back sounding but doesn't lose any detail or break up...it's an all around awesome driver.. The older model Perfects were not so great..the 2002 models though really changed for the better.

But I think the question is would the Kappa Perfects fit in the door, and still be able to get the window all the way down.

According to a guy at the shop I work at part time..they'll fit in a coupe for sure, but it involves making MDF baffles and mounting the woofers at an angle..

Cheers

Does this mean i shouldn't be grabbing the last pair of the 2001s from my local futureshop for $500 CDN? should i just grab a set of the 2002s from another retailer? what's the difference anyway?

No Clue...for $500 though, you can pick up some Focal polyglass components, JL audio XR components, a few other good ones..(easier install. Great sound..) I woulda Got Focal Utopias but I lost my discount at that shop..

Should I go with the Perfect 6.1's or Focal PolyKevlar 165K's? I have a 4 channel amp putting out 75x4 at 4 ohms, and 110x4 at 2 ohms. Would the Focals be easier to install, what would have to be done to fit them? The Focals cost a little more but they run at 2.9 ohms so they will draw more power, I heard that the Perfects need at least 100 watts each at 4 ohms to work well. I want to order a set soon so any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
