I just bought a 2003 civic SiR the other day and me and a buddy were installing a new pioneer deck. That thing was hell since the old owner completely screwed the wiring up, but that's not the problem. Before we could get it working, after we cut the speaker wires off the old harness my power door locks stopped working. I cannot use them at all. Can't use the keyless entry or the power locks on the inside on either door. What could it be

Well there's most likely a short somewhere. my sister had a 92 accord and when she hit the power lock button the dome light would come on and door ajar was on too and engine would shut off randomly. Turned out to be a bad ignition switch but I don't think thats your problem. Did you try hooking the speaker back up to make sure the locks still work?

Are you sure you cut the speaker wires? What color were the wires you cut?

Re: Helpp

You blew one or more of the fuses. Check both boxes.

And disconnect the negative battery terminal.

It goes without saying when your doing any electrical work.
