Re: disable seatbelt sound
Okay, here goes. This is my first DIY
1. Sit in the drivers seat.
2. Close the door.
3. Look to your left.
4. Grab the shiny thing hanging there (located on the b pillar)
5. Pull it across your chest down to your right hip.
6. Click the shiny metal piece into the receptacle that also contains the red release button.
7. Start your car.
Viola!! No more sounds.
(Steps 3-6 are optional for people who can't be killed but I take no responsibility for the gruesome death of those of us who don't fall into the immortal category.)

Re: disable seatbelt sound
Common sense indicates that the sounds happens when the buckle isn't buckled. There for there must be a sensor in the latch that says the belt is buckled. Therefore there must be a wire that goes to the latch. Find it and complete the circuit. Your car will always think your buckled in and thus no more sound.

Re: disable seatbelt sound
its built into the gauge cluster. no way to remove without doing surgery and possibly breaking something. the easiest way is goto a junkyard and get a spare clip by itself and keep it near you. then plug it into the buckle when you dont use the main seatbelt.

Re: disable seatbelt sound
now its up to you to figure it out! ha. i bet its part of the srs circuitry. or maybe thru the seatbelt light? that would be pretty easy if it is. either apply a power or ground to the wire and the light turns off forever.
Re: disable seatbelt sound
there is 2 really easy solutions to all ur problems
1. there's a connector for the seatbelt under your seat so the seat can be taken out, find the connector and unplug it the ding and the light will go away
2. if u can't find the connector or are just too lazy, stick a knife in the seat belt connector and push down the lockin mechanism....it should click into place just like u put the seatbeat in it, therefore tricking the car to think u put it on
