I have a 2001 Honda Civic EX with about 125,000 miles. Still runs just fine except for some sort of electrical hiccup. The radio seems to stay on from time to time. And by stays on, I mean it totally stays after I turn off the car and remove the key. It seems like it'll work for a while and then "freeze" wherever it is. After it freezes I can not make any adjustments at all. I can not turn off the radio, adjust the volume, etc. I have to pull the battery terminal to reset the system. If the radio is off, it'll "freeze" in the "off" state.
Hope that makes sense, thanks for any and all input.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Electrical Problem
I'd SWAG a bad radio.
I'd also pull the radio out and check the powers and ground for it before condemning it.

Yea I remember one of my friends had a similar issue and it turned out to be the wiring in the back. Check that first and see and then go from there.
