Small light fuse problem
Small light fuse problem
I used remote to unlock doors and noticed I have no lights cars starts fine but no light in dash fuse blown. I changed fuse and it blows immediately as I licks the remote. I still have factory radio no recent mods only fog light which has been in for over 3 yrs. I have no clue what to check for.....

Re: Small light fuse problem
Look to your parking lights.
Any area that has been hit, bodyshopped, damage to harnesses, or maybe wrong bulbs installed.
If no human has touched any of that, then my guess could be:
Wire harness damaged between the trunklid hinge and the body (where it flexes when the lid is opened), can short out on the license light wires and blow the fuse.
