Shifter Light out

When I put my gear into D, the green light surrounding the D does not light up? But the lights in all the other positions work fine? How can I fix this?

Re: Shifter Light out

The wiring diagram shows them all to be LEDs. Each LED has its own resistor.
The parts catalog does not show any of the lights as separate.

P, R, and N are controlled by the trans range sensor.
D, D3, and 2 and controlled by the PCM.

May take a little investigating with a DVOM, and maybe a scanner.

If what I see in the diagrams is true, then if any of the LEDs are bad, you would be buying a new cluster if you can't solder in new LEDs.
