high beams come on with low beams-PROBLEM

Recently, my 2004 civic lx has been having issues. the high beams come on when i turn the low beams on. But, when i turn the parking lights on, the brights do not come on. So, when i drive at night, people are always flashing their brights at me as a sign because i always have the low beams and high beams on.

Anyone have a solution???? thanks

Push the turn signal lever away from you.
Pull the turn signal lever toward you.
Does it feel funny? Maybe the high beam switch is stuck on.

I tried pulling the lever towards me and pushing it away and that didnt change anything when the lights were set on low beams (the high beams stayed on). the lever doesnt seem to damaged in any way or stuck in any position. any other solutions or guesses???

theres the problem. you probably have them wired incorrectly.

has this problem always happened (since you installed ur HIDs) or was this a recent problem.

Re: high beams come on with low beams-PROBLEM

Hmm, the high beam relay ??? I have an 05 civic and the passenger side (right) hi beam was just fine but now does not come on at all. The left hi beam comes on just fine, with the low beam as a 2004-2005 setup should but I only get the low beam on the right side.

I have cleaned the contacts on the bulb connector and tried two new 9005 bulbs. I found a right and left headlight relay and swapped them with each other, no difference, is there another relay I should be checking here? Thanks
