Is a sound daming spray, like Cascade Quiet Kote, worth using? Will it improve anything at all?

Not really..it's really messy and doesn't work all that well... Might be good for plastic panels if applied very liberally.. When it dries it feels alot like an eraser..it's liquid rubber..

Just wondering, have you actually used it? or seen it used? I ask because a lot of the reviews i've read of this specific brand say that they love it, and with good masking it was not messy at all.

It's good.. fairly easy to work with..just doesn't damp half as well as Mats do. I used some in my old car.. it didn't help a whole lot..

Thanks, man. I appreciate the continued advice. I think though for my purposes I'm going to buy a couple cans and put in on the door panels and the rear deck for the time being, and when i can afford it, pick up some Raamat for the metal. Even a little deadening would be nice.

you could use spray-in bedliner for trucks to accomplish the same thing. probably a little cheaper, and it isn't easy to damage. plus, you could put your mat dampner over it. it works really well, i did it on a couple of cars i installed audio in, and it worked good.

Hey I just bought the liquid dynamat its expensive and I bought some cheap kind from meijer for 4.99 I will send you pics It is messy and I am not sure if it is really gonna do much im just gonna use it in the seams.
