Em2 ex window wont roll down, help!!!!

Hi, im having problems with my em2. So, my radio wasn't working and it was the fuse that kept on popping under the dash. So what i did was put a 10 fuse under the dash where the radio fuse was suppose to go and i think i was suppose to use 7.5 and i put the 10 fuse in the radio under the dash. I turned everything on and my deck was working and i heard like sparkling under the dash and everything started smoking so i turned off my car and took the fuse out! So when i was checking everything my pass window was down half way so i rolled it up and it worked but when i try rolling it down it doesnt wanna roll down and i use to hear the motor work but now i dont hear it at all. So i wanna make my pass window roll down, what should i do! Helpppp!!!!!

the 7.5 blew because there was a problem and it was trying to protect the system. what you did by putting a bigger fuse in was allow more current to flow into the system than it was designed to handle. this often leads to fires. the sparking you heard was probably a wire that was touching metal somewhere and the higher current fuse allowed it to heat up even more and burn other components. if the radio is aftermarket, a wire was probably pinched when it was reinstalled. pull the radio out and check behind it. whatever wire was shorted and cause the 7.5 fuse to blow, probably burned up something in the window circuit too.

NEVER PUT A LARGER FUSE IN THAN THE ORIGINAL!!!!!!

What he's saying is that you've got a short in your electrical system. If you installed an aftermarket radio, whether you did it or someone else did, it likely pinched a wire when the radio was slid back in, which cut some insulation off of the wire and caused it to short out on the metal behind the radio, so pull the radio out and check all of the wires for damage, as well as the wire under the dash for the same problem. What likely happened, is what Electric said - the short likely damaged the wiring for the power window relay.
