Turn signal problems

Alright guys, heres the problem. When i bought my car it came with badass tyc headlights, but came along with some shitty wiring. I started rewiring them correctly, and accidentally touched a small positive wire to a small negative wire. Smoke went up and i thought to myself ... wonderful. I replaced any blown fuses ive found, and tried my turn signal, no luck. Replaced the flasher and the switch, no luck.
Additional info:
2001 civic lx
Turn signal light stays on when headlights are turned on
No clicking or flashing at all
Havent tried hazards as my center console is in dire need of cleaning and is out of my car
Dash turn lights dont light at all

Any thoughts?

Re: Turn signal problems

well sounds like the signals are connected to the headlight power wire.

Thats what i thought, but the blinkers used to work, but not anymore, and i havent re wired anything. Plus the headlight wires are 2 pronged while the turn signal ones are 3 pronged

Re: Turn signal problems

Solved the problem! Hazard plug just needed to be included in the circuit. Works fine now
