i jsut bought a 2002 LX, i installed a doubledin poweracoustic headunit and some kenwood speakers in the frond doors last night. when i got the car put back together i noticed that the locks werent working. i have ruled out a bad connection. fuse #16 was blown. after further tinkering, and 4 blown fuses later, i have realized that it only blows when i hit the lock, not unlock button. like i said, i have no idea exactly when it happened. all i know is i installed the head unit and speakers and now the fuse keeps poping. any suggestions?

You say you ruled out a bad connection but are you positive the wires for the lock aren't shorting out on your speaker/speaker wire? That's the only thing I can think of.

I'm gonna have to agree. How were the wires installed? Is there any metal contacting the wires that could have been touched giving the power another way to ground itself?
