Is my head unit broken?

Hi, i have a 99' civic ek
I've had my JVC head unit installed a while ago, and its recently stopped working. It does not turn on, however the little red light on the power button does light up. Other than that, nothing.
Everything else works in the car; clock, cigarette lighter.
Anyone know what to do?

Re: Is my head unit broken?

Could be a bunch of things, need more info..Motor face ribbon, illumination ribbon if it has a liquid screen etc.. You might just need to grab some circuit board cleaner and polish the male-female pins if the head unit has a detachable face.
