Question Help with wiring into fuse box

hi i was wondering how to wire in some led light strips into my fuse box so that they would be on when the car was on.Its for my 2005 Civic Vp coupe. the led strips are 12v i believe. So does this mean i need an add-a-fuse? if so which slot do i use.heres a picture of my fuse box.--->Click image for larger version

Re: Help with wiring into fuse box

Where are you putting the LEDs? I think it would be easier to splice it into something that is already there and has 12v

Re: Help with wiring into fuse box

You need to set up a relay circuit.

With a multi-meter or airbag safe test light (not a regular test light) probe the wires in the back of the fusebox for a wire that has voltage when the ignition is on and no voltage when the ignition is off. Splice into that and run it to terminal 85 on the relay.

Now, you see those big gold screws at the bottom of your pic? That's your 12V constant. Run a wire with an inline fuse from there to terminal 30 on the relay.

Run a wire from terminal 87 to the LEDs.

Run a wire from terminal 86 to ground.

Here's a pic to help:
