mounting amps on backseat (backs)

Basically I thought this would be kind of a slick idea, but was wondering if anyone had done it yet. I remember someone posted something about it before, but no update. I'm mostly just wondering how permanent this would be (putting holes in fabric etc), and the best way to do it.

ZVotypka,

I have done this with my Amp, it looks pretty good there. I slid a piece of 3/4" think plywood between the rails in the seat back. The holes I cut for the Amp mounting screws are just 1/2 long slits in the carpet, you can barely see them. 2" long machine screws with lock washers hold my amp in place. It is very sturdy and looks pretty good. When I get another amp for my sub I will mount it on the small seat back. Hope this helps.

I'll try to get a hold of a Digital Camera for some pics.
