No Power to CD player and Power Locks (with Keyless remote)

Hi, i have a 2002 Civic DX 4dr My Cd player has been acting weird (not reading CD when cold) So I decided to give it a gentle tap now the power to my CD player is gone and strangely enough at the same time my Power locks are not working with my keyless entry remote. I have checked the fuse under the steering wheel for my CD player and it is not blown. Any suggestions? I have been searching the web for hours and can't seem to find any.

***Power locks do work when in car and I used drivers door button***

Thanks.

Um that is wierd maybe your cd player just die or had a loose connection and when you tapped it, it fell off. Maybe.
And did you change your battery on your remote.

It's weird when I press the buttons on the remote the little red light blinks so I am assuming it still has battery life.

This actually happened to me, the car started fine, everything worked but the CD Player and locks, I was changing the battery in about a week anyway and so I suffered the "silence" and after changing the battery all was fine! Try unhooking and rehooking yours is all I can say? Can't hurt right? Goodluck!

Thanks I'll try cleaning the terminals too. I have noticed as well when starting my car the Speedo pointer as well as the rest kind of flicker or shake for a few seconds and then stop I can't explain this either it's never happened lol. I am having some bad luck, could be the extreme cold weather maybe..

Is it a stock cd player or after market I dont think honda would be so dumb to tie in the remote unlock to there factory radio. Reson I ask is beacuse my actuator has gone bad and since then I have changed my stock radio.

But still my lights flash when I press the buttons so I dont think so.

Did you check the fuse that is the constant power to the radio fuse because I read thats the same one for the keyless receiver.
