Any gauge swap suggestions for my car?
So I've decided to have an LED conversion of the interior bulbs in my car to blue. The only thing that remains is my speedometer as it is red and white. It's exactly like this, http://consumerguideauto.howstuffwor...m?photo=626575 (except that the blue lines are red instead, AT instead of MT (P,R,N,D,D3,2) and it's KPH over MPH)
It's a slight annoyance but I was wondering if I could COMPLETELY turn my interior to have primarily blue lighting.
Any good gauge swaps or a simple suggestion to turn the speedometer light to blue in a 2004 Honda Civic EX 2-DR?

those clusters cant be taken apart without breaking. and even then, its all smt leds soldered on a circuit board, not replaceable bulbs. either swap in a 2003 hybrid cluster which is all blue led (but some stuff wont work like coolant temp), or mod an older 01-02 style cluster with leds instead of bulb (alot of work).

The lights in my gauge cluster don't work except one of the blinkers, the seatbelt light, and the gas light and i have a new gauge cluster but would anybody know how i could put the correct mileage on there?

Re: Any gauge swap suggestions for my car?
gotta send it out to a company that does computer mileage. usually costs $150 so its easier to look for a used cluster with a close enough mileage.

Or one with LESS! HEEEEEEEELLO resale value!
But really, I looked into this too, all the swaps from different years, models. It aint easy, and you could still have odd fault lights come on...
I say go with what gearbox said and when your done, POST PICS! AND a DIY!! Good luck man!

i got a sedan cluster (blue rings with white numbers) and a hybrid cluster (all a very nice shade of blue) both manual for sale. and they come with adapters so it's plug in play for a 01-02 civic.
