I just purchased a 2001 ex with some quirks

First, I'm new here, so if I'm in the wrong forum I apologize ahead of time.

I bought a 2001 Ex 2dr Coupe this morning. The exterior/interior is in excellent condition. But, for the price I expected issues. This is what I've found...

The check engine light is on (prob. o2 sensor?) and the SRS light is on (my 97accord's has been on for the last three years) which I'm not too worried about. I stopped at one of the big auto parts places to have the codes scanned. They could not connect to the car. The kid operating the scanner said it's probably a fuse. He claimed his scanner is working and that it's the car. Also, the fob doesn't work. I put a fresh battery in it today. I assume I can search Google the programming instructions. Last, the radio is missing and the harness was cut out, is this an easy fix?

Any help on any of these issues would be appreciated and helpful. Thanks!

Welcome to the site.

Follow these instructions to clear the SRS light, it takes about 10 minutes.

I've heard of a couple people having trouble getting an 0BII sensor to connect properly, I don't see how it could be a fuse, but if it was the kid should have checked your fuses while you were there.

Please post a picture of the harness, so we can see the extent of the damage and advise you on how to fix it.
