Hey guys I am having a problem with my eyes. Her is the deal. Sometimes when i start the car my DRL light comes on/off and a buzzing noise is heard behind the glove box. If i turn the headlights on the DRL light goes off and the buzzing stops. the only problem is the r.s highbeam doesnt come on all the time. If i cycle the headlight switch rapidly it may come on, or it may come on after a few seconds to minutes. This problem has been going on for a couple of months and becoming worse and more frequent as time goes by. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If you are hearing a buzzing behind the glovebox it sounds like the DRL relay is going bad. Try replacing it.
Or you may have a short in the bulb or the wiring near it. Try swapping bulbs and see if the problem follows.

Are the relays inside the cab or in the engine compartment ?

its a problem with canadian drl system. either the relay or module or both have the contacts break off and you need to resolder them to get it working. there are many threads on this forum about it and how to fix.

search for "drl" in the advanced search tab and select "titles only" for search option. theres 3 pages of threads about various problems.
